In the beginning, Surface Pros did primarily residential work. Our name was out there, and our reputation was sound, so when Project Stone had a 300 unit apartment complex job in Mission Viejo with Wermers Development and a mere two weeks to the start date, we were the ones they called. We bid the job, and two weeks later we were neck deep installing prefabricated kitchen counters.

The following month we received a call from the project manager for Wermers Development in Dublin who had heard that we pulled a rabbit out of a hat on their job in Mission Viejo asking if we would be interested in another job of the same magnitude. Never one to shy away from a good challenge, we accepted and not three days later were en route to Northern California to install another 300+ kitchens. Our crews hit full stride and we were installing anywhere between 10 and 15 kitchens a day on the project.

After a few weeks on the Dublin job, the project manager forwarded our information along to the Vice President in charge of construction for Irvine Apartment Communities. They were in need of a trustworthy and capable installer, so he called and asked if he could swing by later in the week to walk our site; we happily obliged, but little did we know he was already on his way up to the project for a surprise visit. With no time to prepare for the walk through and a mere two hours later, he was on-site, inspecting our work, looking at what we were able to do on such a tight schedule, and was thoroughly impressed. He was so impressed, in fact, that five weeks later, we were installing kitchens for one of the largest developers in the country, and by far the largest developer in our area.

Presently we are one of a select few installers who bid the Irvine Companies jobs and are concurrently working on five of their apartment complexes with a few hundred units in each one.

In addition to our extensive work in the apartment community world, we also have completed a wide array of hotel projects including Marriot, Marriot Residence Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, and many smaller hotel rehab jobs.
